Diane Smith

Community Outreach Director -

Diane began her career as a Human Resources Manager for a Cancer Research Center and was responsible for all HR functions including managing the Volunteer Program and worked in Development.  Diane achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a major in Public Relations, which gave her a strong educational foundation, but says she has learned many more important lessons through the years as a wife and mother.  She has recruited nursing staff for a children’s hospital in the Midwest.  Since that time she has helped develop and build strong teams in a youth ministry, a college ministry and a local Parent’s Day Out program.  Just prior to joining Eagle Medical Health Care & Staffing, she managed the volunteer program for a local non-profit whose mission was to provide practical, emotional and spiritual support for families whose child was in Memphis being treated for a critical or chronic illness.  She is an avid reader and enjoys writing a blog as well as advocating for several non-profits in Memphis.  She also volunteers with Volunteer Odyssey (you should check the work they are doing in Memphis).  You can find her most weekends at a soccer field, baseball field, or basketball court watching one of her four kids play sports.  She and her husband, David, have been married since 1989 and have lived in four states:  Georgia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Tennessee.  She really enjoys the rare moments they are all together, as life is always entertaining at her home.
